Where the Power really is

The Senate is comprised of everyone in the guild. Each and every person has a voice and is able to give input. Every two weeks or so we will have a Senate meeting in which the anyone can come and participate in the meeting. Once a topic is introduced, there will be a brief period of discussion, then a vote will be taken. Everyone at the meeting gets one vote, from the newest member all the way up to the Chancellor.

The Senate meetings themselves will not be open forums to introduce ideas on the spot. To ensure that they run in a smooth and efficient manner, ideas and topics of discussion will be sent to the Speaker of the House at least a day before the meeting. A docket and agenda will be created so that we can get through the meeting as quickly as possible and we can all get back to what really matter; playing the game.

Here in Ashla Legion, we want to stress that you make up the Senate, you have the vote, and you have the power. This is truly a place where every voice can be heard, and every idea presented. You may not always get what you want, but it will at least be introduced to the guild to see what everyone thinks.
