What is the Council to the Chancellor

The Council to the Chancellor is another governing body that was created to aide the Chancellor and facilitate quick responses and returns on any issues that anyone may be experiencing. This group is made up of three individuals who are appointed by the Chancellor himself.

They are meant to be advisors to the Chancellor, aiding him in making decisions that affect the direction of the guild. They are also there to facilitate communication back and forth between the different aspects of the guild.

Each Councilor will be in charge of three to five aspects of the guild, will ensure that their respective portions have all of the resources they need, and make sure that there are no major issues that need to be addressed. If the Chancellor is not around, any of the Councilors can deal with any situation that pops up.

The Council also has an over ride ability on the Chancellors vetoes. This system of checks and balances is put into place to ensure that the Chancellor does not have supreme power and doesn't have to answer to anyone. In order for a veto to be over ruled, there must be a 2/3 majority vote amongst the Councilors.

Neither the Council, nor the Chancellor position is meant to loft anyone above others in the guild. All voices are equal. These positions are in place for direction and administrative purposes and provide a quick decision making and mediation system.
